This Amethyst Cluster from Morocco features natural purple quartz crystals formed in a geode or cavity. Amethyst is a variety of quartz (silicon dioxide) that gets its purple color from iron impurities and natural irradiation within the crystal structure.
Amethyst clusters display multiple crystal points growing together from a common base, with colors ranging from pale lilac to deep purple. Each cluster is unique in its crystal formation, size, and color intensity. This specimen can be used for display, educational purposes, or mineral collections.
